Elara – owned by Hilton

This hotel was originally called the PH Towers Hotel and was owned and operated by Planet Hollywood but they have since sold the property to Hilton and it now operates as an independent non-gaming hotel.

The concept is fairly similar to that of the Signature Suites at MGM Grand, you are slightly set back off the Strip, but it this case connected to the Miracle Mile shops which run straight out onto the Strip (and also into the PH casino). All rooms come with a small kitchen and the property also has its own pool area.

This could be a good option if you are on a road trip with children and want to stop off at Las Vegas for a couple of nights, as the hotel is likely to be less smoky than others and you have easy access to the Strip – and a retreat from it.
