La Bayou and Mermaids casinos downtown are to close at the end of June.
People will know them as the two small casinos that give out mardi gras beads at the entrances and where you can still play with coins.
They have been bought by the owners of D Las Vegas and they are planning on opening a whole new casino in the space. The first new casino project downtown for decades.
