The Wynn is fabulous. It oozes glamour and class. It is always a relaxing haven from the Strip and is never too raucous in the casino.
The rooms are just gorgeous. I have no idea how they keep the cream carpets so clean in the rooms – this remains a Wynn mystery…
The pool is lovely with great, attentive staff and it’s definitely worth checking out Parasol, a swish chilled-out bar.
Are there any downsides to the Wynn? Well it is one of the more expensive hotels in Vegas but you do get what you pay for. The cocktail waitresses can sometimes be a little difficult to get hold of. However, the biggest problem of staying at the Wynn are the nightclubs which attract hundreds of young twenty-somethings eager to party. At the weekend parts of the Wynn does feel like Croydon High Street… This problem is exacerbated as all of the nightclubs have an outdoor space so the music pumps out until the early hours. Even on the 40th floor you can hear the bang, bang, banging of techno. Take earplugs if you’re staying at the weekend or book midweek when the clubs are closed. Steve, if you were going to open so many outdoor nightclubs, why no noise insulation?!
But as mentioned this is a really classy hotel, one of my favourites on the Strip.
