Stratosphere is often plugged in brochures as being ‘on the Strip’. Technically it is. It is on Las Vegas Blvd but it isn’t part of the Strip that you may have in your mind. It’s over a mile and a half north of the Bellagio Fountains and it isn’t a pleasant walk and a long trek in Vegas traffic in a cab. Worth bearing this in mind before you book.
Stratosphere is home to the famed tower, and those hair raising thrill rides (details and pricing below). None of the ‘Strat’s’ rooms are in the tower but there are some bars and restaurants up there. Whilst the rooms here are of only a fairly decent standard the casino itself is smart.
‘Strat’ is on the Deuce bus route that goes both down to the Strip and up to Downtown.
You can usually get some great rates, especially with some package deals.
