Red Rock

Red Rock is a great resort in a smart residential area close to Red Rock Canyon State Park. If it is possible to have a relaxing Vegas break, this is certainly one of the places you might find it.

The rooms are spacious and extremely modern – there are TVs in the bathroom! The pool is large and well designed. But the best thing about the facilities at the hotel is that the spa is included in the resort fee, so you can take yourself off for a well-earned steam and sauna when the gambling becomes too much.

The casino itself is modern and very large, with mainly locals to be found, and there are great food and drink options here, with many generous happy hours. This is one of my favourite places in Vegas; I almost didn’t tell you about it as I want to keep it for myself…
