Flamingo

Created by notorious gangster Bugsy Siegel, The Flamingo hotel casino, is one of the oldest still standing on the Strip. However, not much of Bugsy’s original vision remains today.

The Flamingo has recently renovated all of its hotel rooms (but not some bathrooms) without raising its room prices, so it’s quite a bargain for its central Strip location. It has a large pool area with more tropical foliage than most, and of course, the real flamingos.

Also, a very welcome addition is the new Margaritaville casino built adjacent to the ever popular Margaritaville restaurant and bar, owned by American Country Music sensation Jimmy Buffet.

The rest of the Flamingo casino can seem a little dark and smoky, but with the rest of the changes happening around the place, perhaps this will change too.
