This is one of the new kids on the block. In a fantastic location, and with rooms that have balconies, a Vegas rarity, this is a welcome addition to the high end Strip offerings. In fact some of the the views of the fountains from here are even better than those at the Bellagio!
Rooms are large and comfortable, many even have small kitchens. I recently enjoyed a 4-night stay here and the room was great, especially the bathroom layout. The dining options here are fantastic – it’s home to my favourite buffet on the Strip.
The casino is smaller than many on the Strip and I did struggle a little to find my favourite slot machines. Some of the public areas can feel a bit convention centre, which is true of a lot of Strip hotels, but they hide these areas better, for some reason at the Cosmopolitan as a hotel guest you find yourselves walking these areas more than strictly necessary to get to the pool etc. The pool scene is fantastic and I really enjoyed being able to look out over the Strip from the pool. However, I found the pool extremely crowded when I was there, possibly due to its relatively small size. There is a second pool, but it isn’t always open.
Note – check out the secret pizza place, it took us half an hour to find it even after staff directions, but it was worth it.
