Bellagio

A/

When people think of the Las Vegas Strip one of the first things they usually think about is the Bellagio fountains. They never fail to impress no matter how many times you have watched them. The hotel itself was designed by Steve Wynn and is now owned by the MGM group. The already impressive rooms were recently renovated and now come in two different colour themes Green tea/Plum or Indigo/Platinum. The spa is still my favourite on the Strip, and the casino has a classy vibe that is unmatched anywhere else (I think this is mainly due to the style of background music they play here, even if you don’t notice it, it certainly gives the place a certain ambiance). To be honest you can’t really go wrong with the Bellagio. The mid-Strip location is excellent, especially for a first timer. All this comes at a price of course, and the Bellagio rooms are some of the priciest on the Strip, even more so than some of its newer neighbours. It owes a lot of this to its name and those fountains, and perhaps a Mr George Clooney who helped cement Bellagio in peoples’ imaginations in the remake of Oceans 11.
