Aria is the centrepiece of MGM group’s most recent new build CityCenter. CityCenter complex has certainly divided opinion amongst Vegas-goers, mainly due to the look of the exterior of the buildings. Many feel that the shiny silver skyscrapers are just too similar to buildings that you could find in any other city. I’m of that opinion myself and it’s one of the reasons I have not yet stayed at Aria, the other being a distinct lack of my favourite slot machines on the gaming floor. Aria, however, is certainly beautiful inside. The rooms promise to keep even the biggest techy happy with button operated curtains and ‘goodnight’ function in even the basic rooms. It is also home to one of my favourite Happy Hours in the city at Todd English’s P.U.B (which is technically part of the Crystals shopping centre next door, but is right outside Aria). I would definitely recommend.
