Venetian is a monster of a place and one that no matter how many times I’ve been to I always seem to manage to get lost (the same thing happens to me at the Venetian in Macau). Go with lots of time so you don’t have to rush or take a map!
The standard rooms here are very big and nicely finished but you pay for them – it is rare to get a cheap deal here.
The number of bars and restaurants in the Venetian and its sister property Palazzo connected by an interior walkway, is astounding. You couldn’t get round them all in a two-week holiday even if you tried.
The ‘Shoppes’ area on the Grand Canal (complete with gondolas) is fun and you can always see a couple getting married or having their wedding shots taken against the fake Italian backdrop.
There are a number of different pool options at Venetian from the regular hotel pool to a European ‘topless pool’. Venetian certainly has something for everyone.
