The Orleans

The Orleans is a huge casino hotel located 3 miles from the Strip behind New York New York and Monte Carlo and is owned by Boyd Gaming (B Connected), the people behind properties such as Sam’s Town and Main Street Station Downtown.

The casino here is large and a lot of locals come to play here. The restaurants have some fantastic special offers on. It’s amazing the bargains you can pick up here food wise.

On the downside the rooms really aren’t anything special. The windows are very small and the bathrooms basic. They have started a schedule of renovation for the rooms and you can secure a renovated one by booking the premium room category.

The swimming pool isn’t grand, but it is large, a much better pool than at their other big resort Sam’s Town.

B Connected often offer very good deals on this property that include buffets, and my favourite perk – resort credit, so that is worth looking out for.

The Orleans runs a very efficient free shuttle service to the Strip that drops off at The High Roller observation wheel at The Linq.
